A little gallery I found

GreggIrbyGallery If you’re looking for some bright, cheerful and beautifully balanced paintings, you should visit the Gregg Irby Fine Art Gallery. It’s located in Atlanta, Ga, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying their great offerings all the way up here in Ohio. Whenever I next go down to Atlanta, they are on my ‘go to’ list.

Here are a few reasons as to why I like their collection:

gregg irby2 They are well curated so all of their paintings work well next to each other. For my visual mind this is the difference between balance and chaos and I greatly appreciate a well thought out gallery!

The artwork consists of pieces I would like in my own home. I can appreciate all art to varying degrees, but when it comes to my home, I am particular about what goes in it. It has to resonate with my soul and stir up good feelings inside. Simply said, their art collection gives off good vibes.

Their blog is a great way to keep up with artists and their happenings. And also what’s happening in the art world. Check it out on their website or here: http://theartselectress.blogspot.com/

It’s not stuffy. I’m a big fan of down-to-earth people and this gallery (at least it’s website) certainly has that. Of course when I go visit, that will be the true test, but I have no doubts that it will be a great place to walk around and enjoy their art.

When I need a creative energy boost, it’s one of my go-to places. Looking at other artists’ work can revive me from some creative pits depending on the mood I’m in. Not only is it inspirational to see what other artists are creating, but it also lights new ideas in my head for challenging my techniques.

So all that being said, you should check it out! If you’re a fan of cheerful, uplifting, and well-composed art, you won’t be disappointed.

Happy Wednesday to you. I’m off to complete a beautiful new painting and I hope you’re off on your own creative adventure!

Artfully yours,

Cortney
