Here are some of the newest prints available in my shop!
With this print, I see myself standing under a trellis and looking out into the sky beyond. The wind is blowing the flowers and sunlight dapples the petals. It’s a calming scene to me and I like that quality about this piece.
This print is far more moody than the one above. It was a foggy day when I painted it, but I had the idea to use these colors long before that day. I love artwork that involves tan, gray and white swirling together with blues and blacks. Those colors together are misty, foggy and mysterious. Sometimes you need a mystery in a piece of art and this has it.
I’ll be venturing back to my more colorful style for a while, but I might find myself inspired to do a few more like ‘It’s a foggy day’ in the future. There’s a depth there that I resonate with.
For today, I plan on completing two paintings that will work together in a series. They’ll be full of nice burgundy, tans, black, and golds. I’ve been inspired to complete these since talking with my Aunt last week. My inspiration is a wheat field bathed in a sunset’s light. Can’t wait to see what turns out!
